Software leader Bundledocs launches new PDF editing product
Bundledocs, the leading cloud-based document bundling software provider, today announced the launch of its new PDF editing product, Bundledocs Editor. The Custom Browser Editor was developed in response to customer demand for an easy to use and cost effective PDF editing solution.
Bundledocs Editor was designed to allow users to manipulate, OCR, annotate and share PDF documents from their web browser. Bundledocs Editor will allow all common manipulation and annotation tools while allowing users to edit text. The solution is provided as an add-on to its basic e-bundling software or can also be purchased as a standalone product.
Commenting on the announcement, Bundledocs CTO James Hogan said, “After months of rigorous testing, we are thrilled to launch Bundledocs Editor. Our software development team has been working for some time to create this product in response to an ongoing need from our customers for an intuitive PDF editor, which seamlessly integrates into their workflows and processes.
“As a cloud-first solution with a customer base that includes some of the world’s largest law firms and government agencies, providing our customers with technology that meets their needs is always our priority. We want to solve their problems, by providing an easy-to-navigate solution that creates personalized PDFs in minutes.
Bundledocs CEO Brian Kenneally added: “Over the last few years we have seen immense growth in the UK and APAC markets. We have expanded our team and expanded into new territories, with our North American operations being the most recent. At Bundledocs, we listen to our customers and constantly evolve our products to be better and more effective. This latest addition to our services will provide users with an easy to use and cost effective solution to their PDF editing needs.
Peter Zver, Vice President of Revenue and Operations for Bundledocs, North America, explained why law firms are looking for PDF editing alternatives: “Law firms are currently using too many point-and-shoot tools, including the most are desktop-based, so a cloud publisher offers cost-effective, centralized management and integration opportunities not available with standalone products. As companies migrate their Document Lifecycle applications, including their DMS, to the cloud, a PDF editor is an important part of that journey.
Bundledocs has become the market leader in the electronic document production space, working primarily with the legal industry. The company recently announced its expansion into North America. With over 1,000 customers in over 34 countries, by the end of 2020 they were the first electronic document consolidation tool on the market to be ISO 27001 compliant.
