Bombay (Maharashtra) [India]June 15 (ANI/PRNewswire): After leading the way in online exams and recruitments, one of India’s first makers of online assessment AI monitoring platforms, Shinkan, has now partnered with AIGF India Gaming Federation (AIGF), the sole umbrella body for India’s online skill gaming community.
This collaboration will help Shinkan root out malpractice and impersonation to establish a much-needed fair play benchmark in the online gaming ecosystem and tournaments.
Shinkan and AIGF are working on building an end-to-end registration process that will range from prospect onboarding to full compliance for new and existing members.
Shinkan’s AI-based platform monitors participants to ensure there is full transparency between all players ensuring that all are real players. The platform would also save all matches for future reference. So, Shinkan with its AI monitoring capabilities will help the Indian gaming ecosystem immensely at various stages to ensure fair play.
What was once a means of entertainment has become an industry in itself. The digital boom paved the way for the global online gaming industry. The picture is the same in India. India’s gaming industry has been booming in recent years, driven by tech-savvy youngsters, affordable gaming accessories, better internet availability, and overall technological advancement.
The total number of online gamers increased by 8%, from 360 million in 2020 to 390 million in 2021. This number is expected to exceed 450 million by 2023.
India’s online gaming market is expected to reach around US$3 billion by the end of 2025

However, with the growing popularity, the online gaming ecosystem is increasingly riddled with malfeasance. The absence of a reference and a tool to eradicate bad practices has further intensified the ecosystem. Therefore, this partnership between Shinkan and AIGF is a promising step for the Indian online gaming industry in the future.
Commenting on the partnership, Abhijit Saxena, Founder of Shinkan, said, “Surveillance is like having a supervisor watching you. Our platform offers identity verification and identity theft management for high-stakes online games, as well as online review and online recruitment. Although online and remote monitoring solutions are not new in other foreign countries, we are the first company in India to introduce the concept of AIGF verified rooms and players. Therefore, we foresee major growth potential. Our partnership with the AIGF is an important step. to the future. We are delighted to work closely with Roland Landers and the AIGF team.
