Black Professionals in Tech Network (BPTN) will partner with Ten Thousand Coffees (10KC) to advance mentoring and executive networking opportunities for Black professionals. He also intends to bridge North America’s black talent gap in the tech industry.
BPTN holds the title of the largest black community of technology and business professionals in North America. It and Obsidi by BPTN have 50,000 members and more than 66 partner companies. 10KC, a software company focused on career development, will provide its networking platform to BPTN which will then form a space for black professionals to converse with executives in North America.
BPTN’s Chief Customer Experience Officer, Davin Miller, said of the partnership, “The goal is to enhance the experience for BPTN members and our corporate partner leaders.”
Miller went on to say that Black tech professionals will have more opportunities to connect, learn and grow their careers with peers, mentors, executives and BPTN’s business partners. The partnership enables BPTN to expand its CULTIVATE mentorship program, an initiative that connects 350 professionals aged 29 and under with technology and business executives.
The collaboration will introduce 10KC’s mentorship module as part of the BPTN CULTIVATE mentorship program.
