Launched in 2019, the multi-year agreement provides Boeing with the range of innovative and intuitive PRESAGIS software and support tools to meet its graphical user interface development needs through the following products:
- The VAPS XT suite of tools for the development of integrated graphics displays. Supporting both standard design techniques and the ARINC 661 standard, the tools allow the development of ARINC 661 widgets and binary definition files. The suite includes the source code for the graphics server, used to deploy complete Cockpit Display Systems (CDS) compliant with ARINC 661.
- UA accelerator and UA emulator. The UA Accelerator tool for developing ARINC 661 user applications and the UA emulator for debugging and verifying ARINC 661 systems were also selected, providing a complete development environment for ARINC 661 systems.
- DO-178C certification. Certification kits including DAL A proofs for each of these products to reduce development risks and time to market.
Using these software tools allows engineers to design, prototype, verify and deploy systems that can be certified at the highest levels.
