Investors shouldn’t overlook this software company
Today’s video focuses on Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK), recent news about the company and its earnings report released on November 23. Here are some highlights from the video.
- Autodesk reported revenue of $ 1.13 billion, up 18% year-over-year, and free cash flow of $ 257 million. Autodesk achieved double-digit growth in all of its product solutions and in all geographies in which it operates.
- Autodesk makes most of its money from annual subscriptions. Yet the high price of annual service keeps potential customers away who do not need to use Autodesk solutions every day. In September, Autodesk announced a new consumer model, opening the door to new customers.
- Management mentioned that supply chain issues are significant hurdles for Autodesk. Supply chain issues cause a backlog in building materials, leading to delays in construction projects and signing of new projects, reducing the short-term need for Autodesk solutions.
