Software watchdog platform Raygun has appointed a new vice president of growth to oversee marketing, sales and distribution partnerships in Australia and globally.

Eliza Clulow joins Microsoft’s GitHub business team, where she spent nearly four years as chief marketing officer for APAC. During that time, his team helped GitHub achieve 70% year-over-year growth and expand its business in India and Greater China.

Previously, Clulow held marketing program management positions at IT provider Rackspace, as well as Capital-e Marketing and Events. Previously, she spent six years as chief founder of wellness company, 6WC.

In a statement, Raygun CEO John-Daniel Trask highlighted Clulow’s entrepreneurial and strategic skills as well as his proven track record in developing and managing marketing and growth strategies as key elements of his appointment.

“Eliza brings to this position first-hand experience building high-growth marketing teams, as well as a deep understanding of the software development market from her time at GitHub and Rackspace. We are delighted to have her join the management team at Raygun as we continue our upward trajectory,” he said.

Clulow said she was excited to join a technology company founded in APAC.

“After working with Raygun in my role at GitHub, I was struck by the culture of the company and particularly interested in the opportunity to scale an APAC company to a global audience,” she said. “I’m extremely passionate about providing developers and the brands they work for with best-in-class tools, which is exactly what Raygun does. It provides developers and brands with real-time insights and visibility into the quality and performance of web and mobile applications, enabling businesses to deliver seamless digital experiences to their customers.
